My Next Project

I interact with databases on a daily basis, however their interworkings are abstracted away from me. I have learned a satisfying amount about networking and operating systems, however databases are a topic that has alluded me. A bright friend of mine said that databases are a specialized operating system and I am interested in exploring that relationship.

What this journey entails

Learning about networking was great, however I did not complete a hands on project with it. So, I look to pair a reading I found (Database Internals) with a project. I will be creating my own storage system / database implementing the concepts I learn from this book.
